Fonterra’s new chairman John Monaghan is a safe pair of hands for the job, says Federated Farmers Waikato president Andrew McGiven.
John Monaghan is an experienced director, serving on the board since 2008. Monaghan has farming interests in Wairarapa and Otago and having chaired and served on many board committees and on global trade issues, his appointment will signal business as usual.
