The grower was looking for a way to improve the crop of potatoes performance and yield knowing that the soil conditions were unfavourable.
The Humax application only applied at 2Kg per Hectare showed a positive increase in yield of 12%.
This could have been even better had the application rate been higher and if the application was combined with Mobilizer.
Ideally, the Humax would be applied to areas where the soil has been cultivated under better conditions as the benefits to the crop would be greater.
The addition of Humax will also have longer-term benefits for overall soil health, especially if it is added to the soil in future years enabling the benefits to increase year on year.
