Rootella T (15 Grow Packs) – Mycorrhizal fungi (New Zealand Native) – Organic Garden Range
$42.89
Product Details:
Glomus intraradices 2,000 propagules/gram
Glomus mosseae 500 propagules/gram
Mycorrhizae are symbiotic associations that form between the roots of most plant species and fungi. The term Mycorrhiza literally means “fungus root”. Crops not only respond positively to colonisation by Mycorrhizal fungi, but they may also suffer in their absence; providing natural protection and assistance when it comes to getting plants established.
Estimates of Mycorrhizal filaments present in healthy soil are astonishing. Several kilometres of filaments can be present in less than a thimbleful of soil associated with growing plants.
Rootella® contains endo Mycorrhizae fungi that can enter the root system to help increase the flow of nutrients from the soil, whilst also providing protection from the harshness of soil microfauna and flora.
Rootella® is suitable for most plants, flowers, grass and trees, benefiting your garden by:
- Enhancing nutrient uptake – absorbing up to 15 macro and micronutrients.
- Increasing water uptake and resistance to drought stress.
- Increasing the absorption area of roots by 10 to 1000 times.
- Assisting plants in utilising hard to capture nutrients, particularly phosphorus.
- Improving soil structure by producing humic compounds and Glomalin required to form soil aggregates.
- Glomalin produced by Mycorrhizal fungi is a vital link in carbon sequestration; plants move carbon CO2 from the environment and store in Glomalin earth sinks. Increased carbon storage helps mitigate climate change and reach carbon zero.
The symbiotic relationship Mycorrhizae fungi creates with plants enables crops to uptake more nutrients (especially phosphorus), prevents stress and promotes healthy soil for increased production, resilience, plant growth and vitality. Mycorrhizae play an important, positive role in plant physiology, mineral nutrition, water absorption and disease resistance. Adding Rootella® to transplants and newly potted plants will help them thrive.
Rootella® is organic, safe for the environment, your plants, and your health.
Place Rootella® T grow packs in planting hole under seedling/sapling immediately prior to transplantation.
Always run a compatibility test before spraying this product with other chemicals.
15 grow bags.

Excellent customer service
Planted a few new fruit trees and applied the Mycorrhizal fungi around the roots. Probably early to see any effects, but so far the trees look good.

Fantastic roots
Sparingly used on seedlings and cuttings, this improves the health and rootzone mass of everything I’ve used it with so far. Quality product!
Keith Wilson –
Mycorrhizal fungi . The plants are doing well.
Had some insect damage on a new Mandarin. In general the plants are doing well. Not sure how much to attribute to the fungal action, but I’m hoping it helps a bunch when it gets dry.
